Reopening Face to Face Learning January 3, 2022

  • December 10, 2021

    Dear Parents and Guardians,

Beginning January 3, 2022 Ahfachkee School will be returning to full-time Face-to-Face instruction for all students grades K-12. We will continue to implement strategies to ensure the safety of our students, families and staff members.

The following safety measures will continue on campus:

    • Students will still be required to wear facemasks on campus.
    • Social distancing by 3 feet will take place on campus.
    • Students will continue to wash their hands with soap and water several times a day.
    • Hand sanitizers will be readily available in multiple locations at the school.
    • Rooms will continue to be sanitized during the day and after the school day.
    • All parents, guardians and visitors will be required to make an appointment before visiting the school.

The Ahfachkee School will continue to offer the virtual school option for those families who elect a remote-learning delivery.

Please note that this strategy is subject to revision based on the recommendations of HHS, CDC, and BIE as the virus and its impacts continue to evolve.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to returning our students to full-time Face-to-Face instruction. For any questions or concerns regarding this letter, please contact us.

    Best Regards,

    Dorothy Cain, Principal
